 BIOGRAPHY

Dr Lee is one of the few clinical cardiologists in Singapore who has both medical and doctorate degrees. He studied medicine at the University of Sydney under the John Crawford Scholarship Scheme (Australian Government) and graduated in 1998 with 1st class honours. He then completed his postgraduate medical training in Oxford and subsequently specialist cardiology training in Cambridge, and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in cardiology (UK) qualification. He received the prestigious Wellcome Trust Fellowship to undertake cardiovascular research and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Oxford. Dr Lee is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He has published in several peer-reviewed international medical journals.

In order to advance his knowledge and skills in complex cardiac pacing and electrophysiology, Dr Lee spent 18 months in Toronto General Hospital of Canada to gain further practical experience. Prior to joining Cardiac Centre International, Dr Lee was a senior consultant and Head of Department of Cardiology at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital
