9 STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION

Step 1: Fill in personal information.

  • Fill in personal information on the vaccination card.
  • Read the 12 questions in the checklist before injecting.

Step 2: Measure Blood Pressure, Spo2, Temperature, Breathing Rate, Pulse

  • Medical staff check vital signs.
  • Usually, the person injects a little nervous, so the heart rate is a bit fast; most of them are over 120 times/minute., the blood pressure is a bit higher than 120/80. Along with that, the community injection site was hot, so the patient's temperature increased slightly above 37.6. For the above cases, the medical staff will suggest that the person who comes to inject the injection rest for a while and then come back to measure. Until the indicators are stable, do the examination and injection.

Step 3: Screening questions If step 1, vital signs are stable, the doctor will examine you and ask the following nine questions. It is advisable to read the explanation first to make it easier to answer.

1. Do you have any acute illnesses?

2. Have you ever been allergic to any of the ingredients?

3. Do you have a history of grade 2 anaphylaxis with an agent? (This is a moderate allergic condition, allergic manifestations in the respiratory tract causing difficulty breathing, or digestion causing abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea)

4. Have you had any vaccinations within the last 14 days?

8. Are you taking anticoagulants or have a blood clotting disorder? (This drug is often used to treat heart disease or implant devices in the body.)

9. Are you pregnant or breastfeeding?

Step 4: Screening

  • The doctor performed an additional examination of 3 parts, which is enough for 12 questions to check if the person who came to the injection was awake? Are the vital signs okay? Are the heart and lung sounds normal?

Step 5: Go for Injections

  • Usually, you will receive the injection on the outside of your left arm. Only inject 0.5 ml of vaccine with a micro-needle, so don't be afraid.

Step 6: Wait 30 Minutes After Injection

  • Read the instructions for monitoring signs during and after the injection. If you have any symptoms of fatigue, headache, dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain, high fever, itching, tell your doctor right away.
