What Vaccines Do You Need Before & During Pregnancy?

Vaccination before pregnancy is very essential to ensure the health of the pregnant mother and the comprehensive development of the baby. Depending on your health and the number of vaccines that have been vaccinated in the past that the doctor will specify which vaccines need to be injected. So what should be vaccinated before pregnancy?

What Vaccines Do You Need Before & During Pregnancy?

AT LEAST 3 MONTHS BEFORE PREGNANCY

  1. FOUNDATION Vaccine - Mumps - RUBELLA (MMR): 1 shot

  2. VARIVAX vaccine: 2 shots, at least 1 month apart.

 

BEFORE GETTING PREGNANT:

- Shot 1: Hepatitis B Vaccine (HEPAVAX)

- Shot 2: One month after the first one

- Shot 3: Six months after the first one

 

WHILE PREGNANCY:

  1. CAPITAL ACCESSORIES (VAT):

  • 1st child: 2 injections 1 month apart, 1st injection starts as soon as possible, usually starting from the 5th month of pregnancy.

  • 2nd child: Only need 1 injection if 2 injections have been given when having the 1st child.

  2. BARCOUNT - CHICKEN CHICKEN - CURING (ADACEL): 1 only from 28 - 36 weeks.

 3. FLU: 1 shot, can be given at any time during pregnancy, usually from November to March every year because of the onset of flu season.

GENERAL NOTES:

- No need to inject if antibodies already exist

- Seeing a doctor for advice if pregnant within 3 months after injection.

- Before preparing for 2, 3, 4 times pregnancy. The mother should see a doctor and consult to determine if she has antibodies, need to inject anything before and during pregnancy.
